Several years ago, while on a visit to an automobile factory, I noticed some huge stamping machines in a neighbouring field. I was told that they are kept around for 10 years at least, in
case replacement parts are needed.

Unlike cars, people cannot be duplicated. When a person is conceived, it is as if the Creator destroys the mould.

On your next trip to the mall or to the grocery store, start looking around. Observe people. What variety! We come in all shapes, sizes, colours, and so forth. Each of us has a distinctive
physique and no two fingerprints are the same. Truly, every man, woman and child is unique. It’s a comforting thought to know that we’re not a terrible mistake, but a very special creation, “born in God’s thoughts.” David could stand before a mirror and say in all honesty and humility: “I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works” (v.14).

You are a designer original!

You are one of a kind—designed to glorify God as only you can. You can be a mom, a sister, a mother-in- law, a home maker, or a working woman, but remember that most of all, you are a precious daughter of the Most High God. You are worthy, you are unique and most importantly, you are loved!

Let His love spur you to greater heights!
